Financial Literacy

Students are being taught financial literacy as a component of their math curriculum Through this exposure students will gain skills, knowledge and tools that will equip them to make individual financial decisions and actions to attain their goals. This course will also promote growth and development in constructing responses to math word problems (a tested component of LEAP 2025)

8th Grade English 1
8th Grade Algebra 1
The Algebra 1 course introduces basic algebraic skills and provides comprehensive teaching of fundamental aspects of problem solving. Topics include, but are not limited to, properties of real numbers, relations, linear, quadratic, and exponential functions, graphing equations and inequalities, systems of equations, radicals, factoring polynomials, data analysis, and mathematical modeling.
